Service has been out the last few days

Hi,

I'm in Ashford Kent & the last few days our NTL broadband connection via set top box / ethernet has not been working. The middle light on the box just keeps flashing all day and not even resetting power to the box as we usually do works anymore. It has come on in the evening (8pm onwards) but shuts off for the entire day.

It's frustrating and I don't see anything about it on the service status page. I tried to call customer support but gave up after about 30 minutes of waiting, and I figured that it was busy because other people had the same problem. However it hasn't been fixed yet and this connection is rather important.

Any suggestions on what could be causing the problems / how to resolve them?

Cheers.
