Blue Screen All The Time

My digital tv is just showing a permanent blue screen all the time.

I have tried rebooting several times and it is still there.... it doesn't matter which channel I choose it is the same.

My BB is working through the stb.

Anybody any ideas to help please... or is it a call to ntl tomorrow for me?

TIA

Re: Blue Screen All The Time

Just blue? Nothing else?

Often that means that the TV is on the scart connection, but not getting a signal, possibly a dead scart lead or even a problem with the telly. It could also be the STB, but if it's lighting up and giving you numbers, it's relatively unlikely.

You star.

I have changed the scart lead and it is fine now... thank you very much m8.

Re: Blue Screen All The Time

I have to agree with Pritch, it sounds like a connection issue. Don't forget there are two ends to a scart cable and the issue can be at the either end. Is there another TV/monitor you could try to rule out the STB?
