Re: Reading duff ?

There appears to have been a router problem at Telehouse all evening affecting access to nthw and many other sites across the pond.

Re: Reading duff ?

And I thought it was just me, are you guys also having problems accessing www.real.com or updating your real-one player? I've not been able to connect to their site for days.

Re: Reading duff ?

The problem is some sites (BBC ) that don;t offer you the choice, and I can't seem to get to their site to update my version.

I'm also having problems with other site too, www.dell.co.uk is one that comes to mind, bit of a pain as we want a new computer this month too Maybe its time for a call to Bulldog

Have a look around for the 'alternative real player', freeware IIRC, works ok with BBC, tiny download on comparison to 'Real Player' and it doesn't take over you PC - works for me

Also, It is possible to get Winamp to play real player content (like BBC radio) using the real codecs and a plug-in called Tara.
