Alternatives to the ntl package

Currently I have

ntl broadband 600 (upping to 750 I believe)
ntl TV family pack
ntl phone.

I pay about £70 - £75 per month all in including telephone calls.

My question is can I get all the above for about the same price if I get rid of ntl go to Sky and get ADSL?

I quite fancy Sky+ for the recording and DD5.1 on some films but I donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t think I can do this for the price I currently pay.

Is it possible?

Thanks

Re: Alternatives to the ntl package

Sky world and family pack - £40
BT phoneline with BT Together Option 1 - £10.50 (from 1.7.2004) plus calls (3p per minute weekday days, 5.5p for upto one hour other times)
ADSL - £20 - £25

Sky+ would involve a £200 one off payment for the Sky+ digibox and installation.

Re: Alternatives to the ntl package

Isn't the Sky+ Installation charge £60-£70 without the £10pm extra box option ?

Thanks

However the £70 I pay now also includes telephone calls charges.
Sky World + family pack is £40 now but they do Sky Movie World for £34.

Any suggestions for a decent ADSL supplier that offers a non capped or service?

Normally if you order through www.sky.com you get installation for £1. At the moment though they are doing FREE installation if you order before June 21st and you get the Sky world and family pack for £34 per month for the first three months (normally £40).

Pipex get the vote from me, although a couple of people on these boards have had problems with it

Had it for about 5 monthes now, had about 2 minutes downtime (Yet was warned about this via the up to date status page, and via an email), had 2 calls to tech support after losing a password, through in 5 mins, password given, back online

Good company imo.
