[Merged] ntl Webmail Changes Login Issues - what happened?
I used to log on to webmail easily by going to ntlworld.com/webmail, filling in email address and password and clicking go.
To log out I just clicked Logout.
Now, it takes me to a different page where I have to log on. Then I have to click on the email button.
To log out I click Logout - but now it takes me a page which tells me to click on the Continue button which then takes me to a different page where I can log out.
Why? I clicked the logout button so it knows I want to logout. Why not just log me out like it used to?
Or even why not bypass the page that tells me to click Continue to go to the log out page? It knows I want to log out - why bother telling me to click here to proceed to the log out page.
And because my superfast connection is soooo slow its taking ages to wait for all these separate pages to load.
These aren't improvements. It's just made it more difficult to log out - when it should really be the simplest thing to do.
We're going backwards I tell you.

Can you not get it by using the add and remove accounts?
This uses your original setup password on you welcome email i think.

Re: ntl Webmail - what have they done?
I have to phone tech support and will probably have to re-register as there is no sign of my email account or webspace!? but guess what, due to 'adverse weather conditions' I can't get through to them!
I'm not sure whether I'm annoyed or upset - I haven't heard from my brother in trinidad since before the earthquake - I know it wasn't a biggie, but he works for BP, so could have been offshore or anywhere... The only place I had his email address was in my ntl mail!

Cannot sign in to new ntl website
So, ntl changes their website overnight, and now I can't get to my email. Using the same user id and password I have used since day one, I now get an error 404 after entering said details and cannot log in.
Anyone else getting this? Any solutions?
Thanks!

Re: ntl Webmail - what have they done?
well, I can be happy at least that the very helpful tech bloke set up me email account for me, and it works through outlook express (though I hate outlook express, it looks so 80's) so that'll do for now. now I just have to find my brother...

I used your link and immediately got access to my webmail, so a BIG for that. Why I cannot login I have no idea, as although I use a different ISP for dialup, I have never had problems with internet or NTL webmail access before.

The http://webmail.ntlworld.com works for me. I have changed my bookmarks to go straight there now.
