Temporary Dial-Up Required

A friend of mine (honest) has Broadband through NTL, but is going on holiday, where there is no broadband service. He wishes to pick up emails on his Laptop.

Can anyone advise if there is a straightforward dial-up connection that can be made, using existing passwords/user names etc.

As usual, all help appreciated.

Lee

Re: Temporary Dial-Up Required

is this to the NTL network?

If not, will it restrict use of receiving & sending emails based on NTL's servers?

Thanks for this by the way - Lee

I think it's a BT one, you can recieve from NTL, but you can't send email anywhere (or if you can, i don't know the default smtp server), so use http://webmail.ntlworld.com

When roaming I use http://www.webandmail.co.uk/ ,there are plenty of other 0845 providers out there. NTL mail be collected via webmail
