How long..........???

I've just changed the speed of my internet connection from 1mb to the 2mb (now 4mb) connection speed. How long does it take to 'kick-in' as such??? thanks guys.

What modem do you have?

If it is the Blue NTL:250, then goto this webpage : http://192.168.100.1/CmOpConfig.asp

login with:

user = root
password = root

the "Maximum Downstream Data Rate" should be about 4096000 (for 4mb)
