Trouble accessing 1 website?!?

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum but please don't let that put you off haha!

Basically, I have just returned home from uni for the summer and for some reason my dad cannot access the website www.rcscalebuilder.com from our 1mb ntlworld broadband service. I have asked friends on other connections if they can access the site and it appears to offer no problems to others. I then set about logging my computer onto our network to see if the site was ok from my own pc (when asked by my dad, I tried it at uni and it worked fine), yet on this connection I too am unable to access the website.

I have tried using both Internet Explorer and Firefox (both up-to date on both computers), but all I get is a blank screen saying 'done' in the browser windows. I have also tried pinging the website and that seems to go through fine which has baffled me even more

If anyone can offer up any solutions to this problem, I would be VERY grateful - I honestly can't suss it out!!

Chris

ps, I checked one of the sticky posts before writing this so will answer some of the questions there to hopefully help anyone understand the problem:

(1 + 2 answered above)
3) Have you contacted customer support about this problem? If so, what did they say?

- cant find anyway of e-mailing ntl at all and am hoping someone will know a solution before I phone up and spend hours on hold again

4) What troubleshooting steps have you taken to resolve this problem? (aka: if you haven't tried to help yourself, why should *we* help you?)

Hopefully answered above - I have tried using 2 different computers and 2 different browsers yet had no success on either from this connection

5 Who you are and what you have
a) Where in the country are you?
Leicester

b) What is your operating system?
Windows XP (both machines)

c) What is your home network setup? Provide details.
A 1mb ntlworld connection, distributed via a BelkinF5D7230-4 wireless router

d) If you have more than one computer, is the problem occuring on all other machines?
Yes and yes

e) Are you running a firewall of any sort? Have you ever installed one? Did you try to turn it off during troubleshooting?
Running zone alarm on both machines, but tried switching off (and even uninstalling) with no success

f) Please supply a traceroute from you to www.bbc.co.uk in text format
I am not sure how to get this into text format - when I run "tracert www.bbc.co.uk", I get 11 steps and then the window disappears (Am I doing this wrongly?)

Not sure if section 6 is relevant because the connection and speed is fine for everything but the website in question - if any of this info is required however, let me know and I will get onto it asap

Sounds like a proxy issue- see our articles section for more details on how to specify a different proxy to work around the problem.
