I should like to join because of my principles, but I don't have all of the facts so I can't really say a definite yes.

<-- this little not-so-smiley will have to do the talking for me tonight, I'm shattered and off to bed. However I will return tomorrow and explain in a little more detail why I am deeply suspicious of the corrupt gravy train that is the European 'Union'.

No The EU have too much control over our country already & it seems n some cases they seem to have more of a say in the way our country is run that our government has. (even though our government is pretty crap)

As a Canadian, I would not want to have my queen join such a crappy organization.

Re: EU Constitution & Joining Europe

Well the truth of it is jerrick,

Thousands of us have already written to the queen asking her to intervene..

Se what many people don't realize is that by Blair signing the Constitution the queen has to give her Royal Assent.

In doing so to this Constitution makes her break her coronation oath because the constitution says in Article 10

"EU law takes primacy over National Law"

So in other words she breaks her coronation oath...

By allowing Parliament to be ruled by Brussels.

Now as I have said Many Thousands of people have written to the queen and we have all got a standard reply..

That is down to the ministers to decide upon whats best for the country so you See yours and my "Queen" have already given up of the fight to keep us under our own parliament..

If you want further details please feel free to email me

You can see some of my letters as published here

http://forums.thisisbolton.co.uk/forum170.phtml

Another stupidity of the EU Constitution would be to force the Police and armed forces to wear an oath with the EU in direct contravention to that they have already sworn to the queen..

So you see the EU is trying to suck us in by the back door No one is the Wiser and what was once England dissapears...

If you look at the NUTS Level 2 or 3 Map (European Regions) you will see that ENGLAND doesn't appear we are merely numbers (Regions) of Europe.

So if your Government and President Bush isn't worried They should be...

Because Ill tell you what it absolutely terrifies me....

Is it any wonder people are fleeing the country to live in Spain and France

Re: EU constution & Joining Europe

Last I heard the Queen was taking legal advice on the situation and wasn't very happy as they way she sees it, TB has lied to her about it not affecting her position.

Re: EU constution & Joining Europe

In theory the queen still has allot of powers. Enough to bring the stuck up prat down. She's never used them before but I think its about time she did.

God I'm glad I never voted that **** in
