Best Ad Blocker
Ok, first off before i start, i'm sorry for making many threads, but this place is so helpful i thought maybe you could help me on this.
I'm looking for a good, free Ad blocker, but nothing that ads sites to my Host File.
I was using Super Ad Blocker 3.0 trial, it was fantastic, till my 30 day trial ended, i have yet to find another good ad blocker like it, Norton Ad Blocker was even better then Super Ad Blocker, but that now only comes in Norton Internet Security and i don't want that.
Any ideas people?

Re: Best Ad Blocker
Cant give a suggestion for an ad blocker, as I dont use one. Just XP patched up and FF or Ie7 with pop up blocker turned on etc.
Just advice, make sure your always patched up completely and have browser popup blockers on
Personally, I have never had any issues with popups.

Im using IE7 on 2 machines, and FF on others. I still dont get any popups :/
(Sorry Mal, didnt mean to leave Opera out )
When you say Flash adds and banners. Do you mean the ones that appear in the same page? Not popping up a new window?
Usual their phone adverts (When flash) is that what we are talking about?

Re: Best Ad Blocker
Hmm, well I know what you mean, and as their flash and part of the webpage. I dont think you can stop them, without stopping all flash working on that page?
Somebody correct me if Im wrong there.
But saying that, with IE7 now you have to actually click on the flash bits to activate them? Does that not stop them from popping?
(Dont suppose you have a example page where it happens?)
