Re: tiscali
£15.99 for half a megabit broadband, hmm me thinks you could find a better deal than this.
But in answer to your question, yes the router option will be ethernet.

Re: tiscali
dont choose tiscali no matter wat u do!!! u may aswell install dial up for ur dad.....
they cant do anything correct, from providing the correct speeds, to customer service, and even billing... the only thing they did perfectly was issue me with the MAC code, oh yeah and the fact i used the MAC code they somehow never knew about [even they must have let it pass through] and still continued to bill me

Re: tiscali
Why does it HAVE to be a business product? What is it you need to get from a business product that a home product wouldnt provide?

I was wondering the exact same thing... unless his dad does some mission critical stuff that demands 99.9% uptime, I can't see the point

Thats correct you can't be sued for having the wrong internet.
You can have whatever commercial product you like.
As it happens my work use a commercial product from bt but only because we run a exchange server so the lower contention ratio is perferable. However the lower BT tiers are the same if not worse than public adsl and dearer.
