Smile Easy Merging ?

Am an existing customer, two seperate billing accounts, standard phone line charge (no package) paying £10.50 a month and 1mb Broadband paying £17.99 a month how easy would it be (and as an existing customer am I able to do it) to change it to the £24.99 combined package. If it is possible would it just be a clerical exercise, after reading some other posts am concerned that it may involve dis connections and re connections and /or incorrect bills during the transition period.

Re: Easy Merging ?

It should just be a matter of calling up ntl and asking them to change you to the new package. They may combine your bills into one or they may leave them as two seperate bills, but I see no reason for them to disconnect you at all.

When I switched I did get an incorrect bill initially, in that I was paying for the services seperatly without the discount, however that has since been sorted and I have recieved the back-discount for the error period. As you are already paying for the services seperatly I wouldn't expect that to be a problem.

Re: Easy Merging ?

If you have BB via a Cable Modem then you will still receive two bills. Until the billing systems are combined onto one it will be this way for the time being.
