Thumbs down Redirecting/java disabled

hi allSince changing ISPs from Wanadoo to BY, my browser will not redirect me, or run java, and displays all drop down menus as blank. I have the motorola modem, and ethernet cable connected. I have not altered my internet settings in any way, and my browser says that Java is enabled. However, I can now longer do online banking, email, online shopping, as many sites are java, or require automatic redirect. Help before I go spare!!!!

Re: Redirecting/java disabled

it sounds like an issue with Javascript, rather than Java, is this enabled in the internet options for your browser?

Re: Redirecting/java disabled

Yeah it is enabled. Have finally given up and downloaded firefox, which seems fine. Just annoyed that blueyonder has managed to bugger up IE so spectacularly .

Re: Redirecting/java disabled

I'd stick with Firefox if I were you, far less likely to "bugger up"
