Have any 512k unlimited naughty users managed to upgrade or know when we can?

As the thread title says.

I'm on 512k naughty tarrif and have no response from NTL about how long we have to stay on this.

Anyone know different?

What about those of us who opted to stay on 300k and then were automatically upgraded to 512k. Will we be upgraded to 1M/unlimited or do we have to ask CS. After all we are not on 512k for going over the limit.

Bit unfair like that once on 512k they are stuck there with a 2mb unlimited tier now being open, surely NTL has a procedure to give users another chance or not?

i opted out of upgrade to 1M but they have so far left it as a 1m conection i asume this is unlimited

I am fairly certain it will be

. I have moved to the 2 meg and now see my connection as unlimited.

Bit unfair they broke the rules

. they were warned and given a chance and still broke the rules what are NTL to do.

Offer then a deal on the new unlimited tariffs? seeing as they are unlimited then they are fine to download as much as they want then?

Why would NTL want to offer a deal to a user that broke the terms and conditions and when they were asked to stop it they did not. Its not NTL that is in the wrong here. Now if NTL decide to move them onto 1 or 2 meg that's there decision. It's in the hands of NTL not a few members of a forum and you know how stubborn they can be

this is my first post on cable forum sorry its a bit long

I got put on the 512k speed in october i didnt mind too much as with the new price i was saving money

anyway after reading on here and else where about the new unlimited being introduced i phoned NTL the week before christmas and asked if i could be put back on 2mb the bloke i spoke to said he'd have to check with the manager he came back about a minute later saying that was ok within seconds my modem lights flickered and i was back on 2mb no problem
So in my case the answer is YES!!!!

Well the 2mbit unlimited still has a AUP which has a fair usage guideline in it somewhere. So if someone was recently moved for downloading 500gig a month then putting them on 2meg wouldnt be in ntl's interest's. I think its unfair to not give people another chance tho, or offer them a different billing option where they pay for more usage.

I am not defending NTL, but they did send letters to these people, so you could argue they are on their second chances already.
