Software Upgrade? How do I get one?

Anyways here is my 2MB internet speed test:

Wed, 28 Dec 2005 18:04:40 GMT

1st 512K took 2188 ms = 234 KB/sec, approx 1928 Kbps, 1.88 Mbps
2nd 512K took 2171 ms = 235.8 KB/sec, approx 1943 Kbps, 1.9 Mbps
3rd 512K took 2157 ms = 237.4 KB/sec, approx 1956 Kbps, 1.91 Mbps
4th 512K took 2172 ms = 235.7 KB/sec, approx 1942 Kbps, 1.9 Mbps

Is this ok for like 2mb internet connection? or is it bad? I'm using USB and I think I should maybe upgrade to ethernet. Wat u fink?

Sorry for all the questions!

Overall Average Speed = approx 1942 Kbps, 1.9 Mbps

Re: FirmWare Update?

Ethernet would certainly be better overall as it places less demand upon the CPU, however as Zeph said, the speeds look fine.

Re: FirmWare Update?

Your modem will automatcally pick up and install any software updates available for it. You cannot install new firmware on it yourself.

Re: FirmWare Update?

Your speed is fine and there are no upgrades you need.

ntlhm100_ntl0002.cpr is only required for the 10 meg service, which you don't have.
