odd question for Play.com customers on NTL

Are you getting dispatch emails from Play when they send out orders?

I ask because I realised the other day i've been getting order confirmation emails (sent from one address), but not the dispatch emails (sent from another address).

Upon talking to my brother and brother in law (both of whom use play.com and ntlworld), they have also not been getting the dispatch emails.
It's only been happening for about a fortnight or so, at the most maybe 4-6 weeks (looking at my emails, or lack of:p).

I guess what i'm wondering is, could NTL be blocking the address in question without telling us (reading a few other threads here I suspect the answer is yes), as our spam filter settings are not set to automatically delete "spam".

Well in my order email last night it gave me the link back to the website suggesting that I can check the status of my order through my account.

I've been getting intermittant dispatch emails from Play.com for years (it's actually been fairly rare this year). But I've also had intermittant recieving of emails on NTL for a while too, just started testing again and so far recieving seems more reliable then earlier in year.

I suspect Play.com don't always send them, I didn't notice any increase when I changed my domain to point to email at work.

Concur with above. Used to get despatch emails, but no more. Stuff still arrives fine and I usually check on my account to see when an order was posted.

Had a PSP game arrive recorded this week which was interesting (they sent the player by normal post last week!). Guess they're gearing up for all those casual posties!

I was just suprised as in the past i've always had dispatch emails from them in the past.

I receive a dispatch email from them this morning. But to be honest it's the first one I ever recall receiving from them!

i have all ways got my dispatch emails but i use a msn email ,i have never used my ntl email as i do not know the passsword .

I use yahoo email and it was only earlier this year that I started to receive the dispatch email. Though recently, they seem to be arriving late.

I received both Order confirmation & Delivery from Play on both of my last to orders, last being 10-11-05.

I doubt NTL are blocking it as I receive the newsletter as well.

I ordered a book the other day and only remember getting the order confirmation email aswell. How odd.

The book turned up fine.
