i know there has been lots of talk about this cap and so on . but can someone from ntl clear up some points ..
1 , is there any plans to remove the cap alltogether
2 , do telewest have the cap
3 , surly there can,t be 1 part of ntl/telewest with the cap and not.
i now have the 10 meg service and have 2 computers in the house between myself,the wife and 2 kids the problem here is we all down load stuff my teenage boys have ipods and both download loads of vids and god only knows what the wife does..next problem is how to police what my kids download (amount) im not going to be a killjoy with my kids so will ntl take the backlash of my kids anger when i tell them its not my fault theres a cap.also in order for ten meg to work i had to change router as my unex router would not work with ten meg (strange)
ive been told not to leave ntl as they will remove the cap but cs says they know nothing about it. anyhow ive started the ball rolling to leave ntl after 6 or 7 happy years . signed the forms to get a bt line in going to sky and bulldog who don,t have the cap and by the time i work everything out its cheaper ..
