what settings?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me which setting to choose on my network adaptor. I know I need full duplex but I have two options for this:

10 Full Mode or
100 Full Mode

Yea you guessed it, which one do I choose?

Re: what settings?

Either will work fine, youre likely to possibly get better throughput on 100 Full tho

M8, Dont do it, I had these settings and only got 4.5MB.When I put Full Auto sensing on my NIC, and set my CM to Auto Sensing my connection now Full 10mb.

Re: what settings?

Agreed. Unless you know what speed will suit your modem best (and it varies - different modems have ports capable of different speeds), autosensing is the safest option.

Neither, unles you configure the socket on the cable modem to the same setting. If you can't configure the cable modem's socket, then leave your NIC setting alone, on auto-sense.
