Ntlworld email on Mac won't send...

I get an error saying that the server doesn't support authentication...help?

Assuming you're using 'mail', have you tried fiddling with the authentication options under 'server settings' (mail -- preferences -- account)?

that would be because the server does not support authentication

Assuming you're using the OSX mail client, edit the account settings, click 'Options' under 'Outgoing mail server' and set 'authentication' to 'none'.
