Stuck e-mail message

There seems to be n e-mail trying to get through which is slowing up the whole system and not getting through anyway.

Annoying part is every time I send/receive, this message is still trying to get through.

Worst part is I think hubby chucked the pink NTL disk and cover where all the passwords were written. So I can't even try an alternative e-mail service (well, not outlook at any rate).

Any ideas on what to do are, as always most appreciated.

Re: Stuck e-mail message

You could login to webmail (http://webmail.ntlworld.com/) and delete the message from there - but you'd still need the username and password I'm afraid. If you call Customer Services (0800 052 2000, Option 5) or Technical Support (0845 650 0121), they can provide the details to the account holder.

Trouble is I am not even the account holder but the wife, and the number of hoops I have to jump through to get anything done via CS is unbeliveable.

Doesn't help that hubby works nights so what spare time he has between getting up and going to work is better spent than waitng for NTL CS

Thanks anyway

Re: Stuck e-mail message

Next time he does call, get him to ask to have your name put on the system as authorised to make changes to the account. You'll then be able to call yourself after that.

Re: Stuck e-mail message

Thanks Jimbo

Ironically it was Netguard that was stopping the e-mail and it was one from CF

Very odd At least it seems to have stopped now.

Re: Stuck e-mail message

When I was trialling Netguard I had a few mail blockages, always emails from yahoogroups and always on my own server rather than ntl's (but then I don't use my ntl account much.. but I did try copying the same message to my ntl account and it didn't cause the same problem)
