Re: Firefox and T'bird 1.5 beta2s out
Hmmm - FF is a little buggy. Scrollbar on the right was missing, and when I went to Options to see if there was now a setting for that and it was deselected, it just showed me 3 buttons and no box.
Ah, well, back to square 1.07...

Are you using a non-standard theme?

Re: Firefox and T'bird 1.5 beta2s out
Just installed it. More of my extensions are working okay now, without having to use the nightly tester tools, though adblock, although it is blocking the ad, it is not collapsing the ads as before.
Seems faster in loading pages.

Re: Firefox and T'bird 1.5 beta2s out
I still had to force a few on with nightly tester, esp Minimise to Tray which i find rather useful especially with TB.
Don't think it's any faster though.

When I tried the beta 1, I think that only one of my extensions was compatible, now it was 50/50. They are catching up.

I was using 1.07 and it seems faster, than that, to me.

Mal- I honestly think it's the placebo effect.

It's just my impression of it
The theme that I had doesn't work with this build, (Missing scrollbar, etc..) which is a bit annoying.

Yup; I looked at their forums and realised that's what it was. ;-)
Reinstalled the beta 2s, switched to the standard themes and it's fine!

Re: Firefox and T'bird 1.5 beta2s out
Just trying it now. Not too bad, although it has a nasty habit of creating new windows under the Dock (which is a big no-no), and it'd be nice if you could use backspace to go back a page, like with other browsers (although ⌘[ and ⌘← work it's easier to just hit backspace).
