Today.

I had a weird thing opened a new browser and typed in www.yahoo.co.uk it came back with somethink like the yahoo home page but looked like someone elses i.e showed someone else was logged in ??????

My PC's are fairly secure and behind a closed router. I'm thinking the proxy cache has got confused....any ideas ?

Re: Yahoo weirdness

Clear your temporary internet files, reboot and try again. Are you specifying a proxy in your Internet Explorer connection settings?
If it happens again you may be advised to let Yahoo know in case they need to change something.

Re: Yahoo weirdness

This used to be a common problem with yahoo for me..but not for a very long time..I should send them an email to let them know it is happening like I did at the time.Unless they have the info they can't fix anything.

Re: Yahoo weirdness

Thanks for the replys. Its was a bit weird u know the bit that shows who ur logged in as said someone elses name. I did a quick search for the name and theres someone with same name locally to me so after thinkin it was a virus or somone spoofying yahoo I though it might be the ntl cache screwing up.....never seen this before.

Not happened again so will see how it goes.

Thanks again

The Don.
