Anti-vivisection protestors are losing it.
Today, around lunchtime, a bunch of anti-vivisectionist protestors were out and about to have a go at HLS and their 'supporters'.
I managed to walk by without saying anything, but I would really like to have pointed out to them that the 'terrorists' that are threatening HLS suppliers, or nurseries providing daycare to employee's children, are doing very little to endear me, or many other people - I'm sure - to their cause.
I could not, in all conscience, even show the least of support even for these peaceful protestors today, for fear of that being interpreted as some sort of support for the terrorists.
It is interesting to see the parallels with terrorism in other areas - we find ourselves unable to support the non-terrorirst majority because that would, in effect, offer support to the terrorists.
Not only are the terrorists threatening us, they are using their peaceful 'allies' to hide behind. If only those 'allies' could see how they are being used - maybe they'd consider removing their tacid support of the terrorists with a view to getting their - probably - genuine grievances heard properly.
Until such time, we will look upon anyone that looks/acts/professes support for the cause as guilty as the perpetrators of the atrocities.
