Re: Bid to solve dispute over planets

I just find it amusing they needed a team of experts to resolve this! Shouldn't they just have a certain criteria that makes a planet a planet?

Re: Bid to solve dispute over planets

Seeing as we arent going to live on over half of these planets, I cant see why we need to do this.
Lets just leave them how they are.

Ummmmmm just what would Neptune be known as?

Why cant they just be known as Balls of Rock, after all isnt Earth the 3rd Rock From The Sun.

Not to mention Mercury, Mars or Uranus?

However, they may not all be balls of rock. The gas giants may not have rocky cores at all. ;-)
