Sound problem

Ok this has just recently started to happen. As of late at no certain time a
weird sound has been coming from my pc speakers. It really slows my pc down
and I end up restarting. I have uninstalled the driver and re installed. But
no good. The card is a Realtek AC97 Audio onboard

Here is a clip of the sound

http://www.batista.co.uk/images/sound.WAV

Thanks for any advice
