Re: Netgem i-player set-top box

With difficulty, seeing as the Netgem is for DTT ie freeview through an aerial, and the ntl are for cable.

I have a Daewoo freeview thing, and the Netgem I've also seen- it's pretty good, you can get wireless keyboards and stuff and surf the net on your TV... I think it may even be as good in terms of tuner sensitivity, the SetPal tuner has been slutted around quite a bit.

BTW

Re: Netgem i-player set-top box

sorry, I should have phrased the question differently, I bought an i-player to replace my NTL cable box, as I was'nt watching many cable\sky channels, I used to have "TV-internet" access with the cable box also, so I wanted something along the same lines, which the i-player has, what I was wondering, was, has anybody else been in the same scenario, and if so, what are your comparisons between the two STBs ?
