Re: HD-TV from NTL
I seen a hdtv been sold on qvc yesterday, what happens if you have a normal tv on a hdtv signal, will it just work like normal or will it not work at all?

Re: HD-TV from NTL
You would have to have a downconverter in between.

Re: HD-TV from NTL
I've been playing some of those on my PC, and although the 1080p videos were jerky, the 720p videos played beautifully on my AMD Sempron 2500+ (actually 2.0GHz) with 1GB RAM and a 64MB nVidia graphics card.

Have you tried www.divx.com as there are some links on that site. Also, there is lots of discussion at www.avforums.com in the forums section on this very topic, not to mention a fair few links on suitable content.
Edit: Also worth a mention is that if you are intending upon upgrading your monitor in the future, it maybe worth checking on its HiDef compatability.
