STB to DVDR

Hi all

I am having problems when I run my STB through of DVDR switched off all is OK. When I switch my DVDR the colour is really bad very green and blue. Any ideas.............plus which is the correct connection on the back of the STB to connect to the DVDR : TV or VCR ???

Thanks

Mike

Re: STB to DVDR

I've seen this before with various different DVD / video players, and not just NTL set top boxes. For some reason having the DVD turned on can cause this or ghosting effects. My current set up is fine, but when I've had it in the past I've just said keep the DVD player off to watch through the STB. Depending on how u've got it cabled this could be a pain for recording etc. so I'll leave advice on a fix if there is one to someone who knows more about these things.

Has anyone got a Schematic diagram to connect a STB/DVDR/VCR to a TV with a AV1 and AV2 where you can record from the STB to DVDR. Hope that's a challenge

Thanks

Mike
