iOS 26
Anyone else tried it? I have the dev version on my 16 PM and the iPad and I love the glass-effect look on the apps. I even have it on my Watch 10 even though I can’t see any difference on that.
Only thing I don’t like (which I assume will get ironed out with the public beta) is when I open Safari on the iPad the column on the left that offers bookmarks, history is automatically on display, and have to tap on the little square icon to put it back.
26’s look seem to be polarising to many users but I don’t see the problem, in fact I think it's the best major updated look in years.
(Disclaimer: if you’re an anti-Apple Android fanboy then all the power to you but maybe avoid this thread if you don’t really use iOS? Kthnxbai)

Re: iOS 26
"anti-Apple Android fanboy" ?
I'm sure a lot of people prefer Android over iOS (me included) but that doesnt make them (or me) a "Fanboy" or "anti-apple". Its simple preference.

Re: iOS 26
(Sigh) I didn’t suggest those who prefer Android are “anti-Apple Android fanboys" but there are some fans of either out there who take a very “anti” attitude when the other OS is discussed.
I was just trying to discourage the topic from going in that direction, although I suspect you were aware of this.

Then perhaps you should have just said nothing.
If you post such comments, you're going to get a response to them.

I like iOS 26 from what I have seen. I have iOS 26 on my iPhone, iPadOS 26 on my iPad and macOS on my Macbook.
The only problem I've had so far is that Youtube app on my iPhone sometimes gets confused as to which way I am holding the phone and plays the video upside down. If it does, it's a bit of a pain to get it playing the right way up. This isn't iOS 26 specific though. It started happening a few weeks back, so might be a problem with either my setup or a youtube app bug..
I do also have an Apple Watch, but this is too old to run Watch OS 26 and I don't really have the money to replace it.

Re: iOS 26
Yeah I get the Youtube problem too. It's a bit annoying, but I don't use the site very much. Given its popularity, of course, I'm sure it'll be sorted by the Public Beta, which I'm hearing should be available in around 4 weeks or so.
I have 26 up and running on my Series 10 watch and other than the PIN code squares looking a bit more rounded on their corners I can't see much of a difference.
Saying that the exercise screens have a slightly different layout but it's been so long since I've used the watch to measure cardio this may have been a change from a different recent update.
