Chat with Virgin phone jockeys
Getting through to Virgin Support can be very frustrating and when they hold music is interrupted with there hope-inspiring suggestion to talk to a chat person they say to use app called,I understand, My DM/Mein DM. There only one I can find for my iPhone is one that seems to be a German shopping channel!
Have I got it wrong? Does a chat channel actually exist?

Did they mean "My VM"?
A few months ago, I used web chat within my browser on the Virgin Media website. No app needed.

Ditto, I used it to cancel, back in January.

If they did, they hadn’t tried using My VM recently as no reference to ’chat’ seems to be there.
Seriously, is there no way to communicate with a human short of fighting through the menus until one can get to a Retention person? I’ve only been back with VM long enough to get my second bill and I want to leave (again).

When signed into My VM there is sometimes an option to use Messenger when you click on Upgrades.
There is an online messenger on the https://www.virginmedia.com/help/leaving/ page.
You can also contact VM via WhatsApp on 0780 3089 684
Or you can contact VM on Social Media by either messaging
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/virginmedia or Twitter: https://twitter.com/virginmedia
There is also the online Community https://community.virginmedia.com/

Re: Chat with Virgin phone jockeys
I'm having a nightmare with VM after they foisted their new box which hasn't worked properly since they sent it to me in the post.Their instructions were pants and I never managed to get it to work completely. Now it doesn't work at all. It's now a brick.

An aerial and freeview is good value. Their boxes record, very advanced, unlike VMs latest streaming only boxes...
