Post and discuss stuff you think is interesting
I just had WMP9 open and I clicked OPEN URL and then tried to open a local file which really shouldnt work but it does....I didnt know that until today!
Im gonna try it with realplayer and VLC also.....
EDIT:
It doesnt work with any other player I have
Realplayer 8+
VLC 0.7
Screamer player 3.8

VLC does open media links. It opens videos on my phone. Can set it like that on my PC too. But then I have a modern PC

Ya I just tried VLC again,I went to "Open Network Stream" and tried to listen to a song I have (Address C:\My Documents\Songs\Hollow) and it says Invalid......
What version of VLC do you have Stevie??

I would imagine so. It would allow streaming from a NAS on your local network or another device set up in a local network.

Don't come to Scotland then. We can form sentences with just swear words  sometimes bad words can be complimentary as well here.
