BBC rubbish recording

Over the last few days , recordings on BBC have been unwatchable, other channels fine. As it is using I player , not my preferred choice but beggars can't be choosers

Did you report a fault? Or check for issues in your area.

Re: BBC rubbish recording

If it's using iPlayer, it isn't a recording. Try rebooting your hub and TV box for starters

Re: BBC rubbish recording

I read that to mean hes using iplayer [instead] because the recordings are/were bad.

If your live TV is ok but the recordings pixelate, it's definitely a faulty box and needs to be replaced

Re: BBC rubbish recording

Other possibility is a duff tuner.

Indeed, and that's easily proven. Use the "info" button on your remote to scroll to the bottom panel where all 6 tuners are listed.

Scroll through each one manually in turn for a live view of whatever channel it's tuned to.
