Sky Sports replays unavailable

I've recorded the Grand Prix for years, and for the first time it wouldn't record as they changed the scheduled start (this was possible to manage 20 years ago), so the only way to see it was on catch up, and now it tells me I need to upgrade to do so. I already pay a fortune and as the recorder always worked up till now I never had to see one on catch up. Is it really true you can pay for all the 500 sport channels and still not have full access? It's too late anyway as I heard the result but it seems to be against the rules of a fair contract if you can't see a programme you paid for on catch up.

Re: Sky Sports replays unavailable

With all the weather disruption and schedule changes at the last minute I'd say many recordings were missed m. Channel four probably still on schedule though.

Re: Sky Sports replays unavailable

It certainly was chaotic. I’d set my V6 to record the race, padding it out with an extra two hours. Quite by chance I switched live Tv to the F1 channel after the race was supposed to have ended and saw it was only half way through.

Managed to rewind to the start and was able to watch it all the way through.

Might be better to set the following programmes to record as well, just in case.

For reasons unknown the race itself can only be replayed on HD. I have recorded the overnight repeat and will watch it later. But if Virgin are watching please get Sky Sports on catch up.
