360 box and mini box

Occasionally when wanting to watch VOD, ITVx And BBC iPlayer as examples we have to sign in on those accounts and sometimes it results in error messages. The only way we have found to rectify this is by doing a hard reset on the boxes at which point it sees and downloads updates. Is there a way to see if the boxes have updates available without doing hard resets or is this usually an automatic process?

Re: 360 box and mini box

If the box is downloading updates after a manual reboot then it is likely the update is failing. Updates are pushed to the boxes to a schedule that happens overnight, at which point they will reboot automatically.

Having to re-sign in to streaming services, seems to be an issue with the 360. Many complaints on the support forum. If only they'd tested the software first...

Re: 360 box and mini box

I find my a couple of the streaming service seem to get logged out.
But more annoying is the 360 often resets my Netflix to log with into the VM account and not the account I actually logged in as.
