VMB Business with Static IPs: Changing my Asus Router in front of the Hitron

HI
I am looking to do 2 things:
1) upgrade from VMB 350 with 5 static IPs to VMB 600 or 800 which means I will have to change from the Hitron CGNV4 to the Chita

I am asuming here when I make the change I can keep the same Static IPs as 1 company router has come pre-configured for one of the Static IPs

2) I ALSO want to change my ASUS router from an AC68 to AX86 and this quesiton is about that (but help with number 1 also appreciated!)

Right now the AC68 has been assigned one of the Static IP addresses so ideally I want to assign this Static IP to the new Asus router

BUT when I go to "security/device filter" there is no way to edit the MAC address of the device assigned the "home" router IP - it is greyed out.

Do I just have to add a new device (ie the AX86u) and it will automatically assigned the next available static IP address? and then when I delete the current router ooff that IP address will be made available when I next need one?

IP range was 16-23; usable IP range is 18-22 with the Hitron assigned 17 I think?

I take it there isn't any issue of what "order" or number the 5 addresses are assigned? so if "home" is currently .19 and the new router given say .20 (for some reason I cant remember another router already has .22) then as long as WAN in the new ASUS is set up as .20 all will be fine and there isn't any "preference" in the other of the IP?

I presume .19 will be released back to me when I ask for it to be deleted? (I can't find a way to delete it from the Hitron settings either!)

How much of this can I preconfigure on the AX86u on the intranet before I switch it over and disconnect the AC68?

Sorry -I hope all this makes sense? Makes swapping out for a new router much more complicated!!
