These are not the films spilt up again? Totally new episodes?
Although I thought the films where a big drop in quality from the series (which i think itself started to drop towards the end)

Totally new. The feature length episodes, & general DVD sales, were successful enough for it to get a new series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurama#Revival |

 | No, they are totally new episodes.

I agree about the films, hopefully a return to shorter epsidoes will help.

Can't wait for the new series.
Those films were disappointing but I have faith that this will be a return to form |

Oddly the 2 episodes available are listed as season 6. Seems they aren't counting the movies as a series?

				Re: Futurama : Season 7

There is some dispute about the season numbering from season 3 / 4 due to differing production and broadcast schedules - but looking at wikipedia, they seem to be using 1-4 for the originals, then 5 for the films, and 6 for the latest series - so I guess we should stick with that. Title amended
