Can’t connect to Hub 5

Very weird problem.
I upgraded to 1Gig and got a hub 5 and changed everything to how I wanted it. No problem. My wife has the O2 SIM and everything was good.

I then bought a Vodafone SIM for myself..
after a while I noticed very slow WiFi speeds and on checking it was showing the router IP address as 192.168.1.1 rather than 192.168.0.1

Using my browser I can no longer connect to the HUb 5 on 182.168.0.1 and if I try 192.168.1.1 it takes me to a Vodafone Hub log in page - but I only have Vodafone SIM and not Hub.

I have done a reset and my WiFi is now reset to the default but the ip address is still showing as 192.168.1.1. And I can’t access the hub 5 so can’t change my SSID back to what it was before.I am also getting slow speeds 15mb as opposed to about 600 one floor away from the router.

The Virgin hub password does not work on the Vodafone hub login page.

I have no idea what is going on.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Can’t connect to Hub 5

What are you trying to connect to the router with ? your phone? are you sure it is connecting wifi and not 4g/5g? Do you have a laptop or pc you can hard wire to it ?

Re: Can’t connect to Hub 5

In trying to diagnose these issues you need to reduce the installation to the simplest setup: 1 hub, one slave device. Get that settled and then slowly add devices.

Re: Can’t connect to Hub 5

Today it was still showing that IP address for the router and I lost all internet access. I swapped to using my phone as an access point but just swapped back and it is now giving me proper speeds and showing the correct router IP address. I wonder how long for…
