Superhub 4 not opening up Router Status Page

I seem to have found a fix to the issue of the SH4 not opening up its router status page.

If i try 192.168.100.1 and it says page cannot be reached I just reboot my router and I can guarantee 100% that I will then be able to gain entry to my settings.

This fix was found completely by accident and does work.

The rebooting of kit fixes around 99% of issues on any device. It is usually the first thing a customer is asked to do.

How to enable modem mode on the Hub 3 or Hub 4

Make sure you are connected to the Hub before following these steps.

Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar of your browser

The password is printed on the bottom of the Hub

Select Modem Mode on the left hand side of the screen

Select the option next to Enable Modem Mode

Select Apply changes

Note: Once in Modem Mode, the IP address you use to access the Hub changes from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.100.1.

Re: Superhub 4 not opening up Router Status Page

I just checked and http://192.168.0.1/ logs into my SH4 in router mode. But http://192.168.100.1/ seems to work too.

I confirm that. Both addresses work on the Hub 4 in modem mode.
