Can't paste copied links all of a sudden.
Using Chrome, I used to be able to copy links to quote in posts yet, all of a sudden, even though it says it's copied the link, it doesn't appear when I try to paste it.
Anyone got any ideas why this could be so?
Thank you.

I have just just copied a quote and given a link to the the article with no problem using my chromebook and didn't encounter any problem.

Cache had already been cleared as part of routine maintenance, i'll try restarting the phone- thanks.
Edit: Restart made no difference. By cleaning cache do you mean what ccleaner does, or something else?

Just copy/pasted the above link on a OnePlus7 Pro Android phone, using Chrome browser.
Try pressing a bit longer than usual when pasting.

Re: Can't paste copied links all of a sudden.
Thanks for your suggestion Alan, I was going to try that, but received an Android update notification, which i've now installed.
When I went to use Chrome, that wanted to update too.
The problem now seems to be resolved
