RIP Des O'Connor
Des O'Connor has died at the age of 88 following a fall at his home, his agent has confirmed.

I always thought "what a lovely man" whenever I watched him. A great entertainer, he seemed to be so relaxed and open and was never slow to laugh at digs made by other performers at his expence. He could sing as well.
