What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

I live in a three bedroom bungalow and my dad has the thermostat set to 21C

I, personally, find that to hot and 20C is a much more comfortable temperature

So I'm curious what temperature you guys/girls have your thermostat set to?

Re: What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

Secretly I'm a polar bear - I have mine set to 13C.

I like it cool. I actually had to turn my central heating on this weekend - it was getting a touch chlly - my breath was condensing.

18ish as a general rule, 20+ if it starts feeling a bit chilly

19°C here. Can't stand it too hot in a house.

Re: What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

For some crazy reason the council put my stat in the hall so no matter what I set it to it either gets to cold or to hot but I try to keep it under 20

Re: What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

Ours is set to 17 degrees C normally but we had it up to 22 degrees for an hour on Friday night though as it was really chilly!

Re: What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

The answer depends so much on where your thermostat is located; ours is halfway up the stairs and having recently doubled the insulation in the loft, the heating never came on as upstairs was always warm so we had to turn ours up to 21 degrees having previously turned it down to 20!

16-18 normally. 20 if the GF is staying as she always complains it's too cold.

We do have CH but we don't tend to use it since we knocked up a wood-burner from an old gas cylinder..

Re: What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

We have a nice programmable unit (in hall) so

Mon-Fri
0630-0830 : 19
0830-1200 : 16 (house empty or wife busy houseworking so moving around a lot)
1200-1330 : 18
1330-1600 : 16
1600-2200 : 19
overnight : 12

Sat/Sun
0730-0930 : 19
0930-1230 : 16
1230-1400 : 19
1400-1600 : 16 - have coal fire in front room so can turn down CH
1600-2300 : 19
overnight : 12

We also have radiator valves so can turn down heating in unused rooms

25C here, though can go up to 28C at certain times. But never below 23C.

I thought I was the only one here Peanut... I have the zone that controls my room set to about 22....

I think I am warm blooded because when it gets colder outside I am colder inside..... Like when its summertime I usually love 17C but in the colder months,17 is wayyyyyyyyyyy too cold for me......
