Pebble Smart Watch

As an owner of a Pebble Smartwatch, it's disappointing to read this:
Quote:
According to several reports, the fitness tracking company is offering about $40m (£31m) and the deal could see the Pebble brand disappear.
I guess it would mean having to move to Apple Watch.

This preference for its software and intellectual property isn’t good news for Pebble fans, because reports say that if Fitbit does take on Pebble, it may intend to wind down the hardware side of the business
