Desperate Attempts To Save Migrants
http://news.sky.com/video/desperate-...rants-10566646
When l read articles about this. It makes me weep. But the annoying things is that the Countries concerned about it - NOTHING
NOTHING to stop the traffickers, who are getting thousands of pounds from these migrants
We hear the Traffickers are also now creating Car crashes, so that migrants can easily cross the Channels on the backs of any vehicles coming to the UK.
What Governments should be doing, via there intelligent network is organise a task force to find these traffickers. and STOP THEM

Re: What are Countries doing about it
Yes why aren't we doing more Arthur it's not like the UK has been taking in god knows how many for years is it, it's not like we've taken in so many public services are at breaking point or communities have been completely unbalanced why aren't countries doing more. Where exactly would you like the cuts to be made to fund doing more Arthur given you feel some noise disturbance once in a blue moon is too much to bear. Do you ever actually take five minutes and have a think about things before posting or are you completely oblivious to the world we're living in.

You didn't weep though Arthur did you? You took another sip of coffee and carried on regardless
As someone who is in 'law enforcement' and 'works with vulnerable people' why aren't you getting involved?
Right up your street i would of thought.

Re: Desperate Attempts To Save Migrants
Whilst were at it may I suggest Liam Neeson. He is adept at catching traffickers of all natures.

He's oblivious to the organisation known as Interpol. So yeah, a little research before ranting would've alerted him to the fact the task force he thinks governments should be setting up already exists. Its just not foolproof like anything but they have a presence in places like Libya, I see no reason for the UK government to do something else. Our problem starts when they actively traffick here. We shouldn't have any involvement in Migrant boats and trafficking that starts in the middle east. Every time we get involved in something that doesn't really concern us we create a storm of utter turd. As Putin reminded us kindly, the US apparently tried to do 'good' in Syria and armed a load of 'Freedom Fighters' and accidently put ISIS on the map. A catastrophic mistake that innocent countries are now paying the price for.
You've once again brought up a valid topic Arthur but you keep defeating your own argument over and over by not fact checking things before crusading. Just take a few minutes to Google beforehand. I do it to any thread I create.

Re: Desperate Attempts To Save Migrants
I just don't understand why these "migrants" who pay "thousands" to get on a rickety boat don't just fly legally and claim asylum on arrival?

Re: Desperate Attempts To Save Migrants
Because they wouldn't be allowed to board the flight, regardless of how much money they had. Unless a thousand or so people can con them each day which isn't happening. Migrating to Europe legally isn't easy, once you're in however that's a different matter.
So whilst it may work for some, it won't for the majority of people whom we are now seeing on sinking boats.

Re: Desperate Attempts To Save Migrants
Yet another ill informed factually inaccurate post from Arthur.
Af course Countries are doing things, they are rescuing people and trying their best to look after them where they can.
There isn't much else they can do, close one door and they break in through another one.
