Connection Woes

Connection Woes, Just wondering if someone more in the know than myself can check how my current stats are looking on my Hub2ac. Just basically do not want to call VM up and hear the reply of "everything looks fine from our end!".

Just had connection drop lasting around a couple of minutes.

Here are updated stats, just after the connection drop, network log has not changed yet, also all the lights on the hub remained active, just could not get web pages to load and the Network icon had a yellow icon next to it.

Everything does look fine from the Virgin end, at least as far as the connection is concerned - the SH might be the problem. Do you have a router you can use?

The Second log was just after my connection dropped and came back online for around 5-10 mins. - Like i said before all the lights were blue on the hub, but no webpage would open up and the Network icon showed a fault - I did not reboot the hub as it eventually came back online itself.

I am sure Igni has said quite recently that T1 errors are shub faults (i.e. faulty cpe)

Should i post my information on the VM forum and see if they can possibly arrange for another hub to be sent to myself due to your above comment.

Might get more interaction with them regarding the above rather than trying to explain the issue over the phone to them.
Just need to think of a simple way to explain the error to them, so they can understand. :P

I think going down the forum route is the best idea. They'll be able to look into things their end in their own time, put a shub in the post and then get back to you. I think it will get handled a lot more quickly and efficiently than talking to India.

Just thought i would post a slight update:-

The Engineer fitted a second powered HDU into the property between the Set-top Box and Broadband in another room. The first powered HDU is fitted at the point where the connection comes into the property and attaches to the first Set-top Box.

I have noticed that some T1 time-outs appear to be re-occurring, not sure if this is a major issue!

As someone has stated above T1 errors are known Hub faults and the engineer did state that i could change your modem, but due to current activation problems of new modems being installed today it would mean that you would have no internet for awhile due to them trying to work-through the back-log - So he decided against changing the modem and just done the above!
