VOD : What is going off with On Demand HD Sky Movies

As some of you may know the on demand offering of HD films available through Sky Movies is pitiful.

For some months now it has got worse and worse.
There have been questions asked on the official forums and apart from 1 or 2 mentions from officials about it being a temporary issue due to an upgrade there has been no information.

It has been like it for months now (pre Christmas I think) and I was hunting for a couple of films and they were not on there so I thought I would look through them all A-Z and I think there must be something like only 100 films on there.

I know they are all there in SD great but I want them in HD.
Any insiders or customers willing to speak about this? In particular is there an end in sight for this 'temporary outage'?

Get Now TV movies and purchase a 6 month pass and you'll only pay £6 a month.

I have seen Now TV movies and the quality of the HD is nothing like as good.

I'm paying for a service that has been depleted now for 3+ months and seemingly no answers as such

So cancel it until they rectify the problem.

Maybe they're finally replacing the 10yo on-demand platform and only want to do the minimum maintenance work on it before the new one goes live?
