Has Premier Sports been sold?

http://businessetc.thejournal.ie/set...86972-Dec2015/

This article mentions nothing about Premier Sports, does anyone know if they have been retained or sold along with Setanta etc?

Re: Has Premier Sports been sold?

Potential scenarios being discussed elsewhere are that over the next couple of years:
- Setanta Sports 1 closes down in Ireland and customers receive Premier Sports instead. (3pm Premier League rights have been won by Sky so Setanta's need for an extra channel is reduced in the future.)
- Setanta Sports Ireland becomes Eir Sports.

Depending on the licensing, it would also not be impossible to see Premier Sports rebranding as Setanta. However, as Premier Sports is international, there may be issues in Asia as Setanta Sports there is owned by Discovery.
