I asked an American if he thinks they should disarm the nation, his response was to instead make sure more people have access to firearms...
It's been proven many times, British and German armed response (Examples) are a far better solution than arming standard and may I add pretty incompetent and in some cases overweight and useless Police Officers. They can't employ the above though until they disarm their nation. I can't believe there's a country that actually allows you to just wander around with a semi-automatic upgraded M16.

Responses of, only 3 of those go on to commit massacres each year just isn't good enough anymore. Loss of life is exactly that... no matter how many, it shouldn't happen.
It's far too late now though, how do you disarm the US, you just can't anymore, it's impossible. As Gary put, just have to let them get on with it.
