Re: can i BUY MY TIVO

No. The only way to transfer recording from your box is via the scart socket which of course wont give you HD

Re: can i BUY MY TIVO

You can't buy it, the TiVo box belongs to VM.

All part of the leese hire agreement you signed when you signed the contract... Do be mindful that they like to persue TiVo and SHUB cases when they are not returned...

There is a way that you can effectively buy a VM TiVo, but I can't see the point.

When the contract ends, don't return the TiVo. VM will then eventually bill you for it- it'll only function as a FTA box for less channels than Freeview though and won't record.

Pretty sure TiVo won't even do that now - they are now cardless so require an active subscription to function.

You are correct had a couple of customers who havent paid their bills, whole tvguide gets greyed out as do the catchup and ondemand options in the home menu.

Yeah, just a straight replacement of one box with another, then call up to activate the new one. You'll get full instructions delivered with the TiVo.
