Nec lcd3210

I want to view channels with a Tivo through a NEC LCD3210 (essentially a PC monitor) via HDMI/DVI-D cable and audio through a scart/phono adapter and amp. Is this possible? Is HDCP a problem and/or would a stripper solve it? If not, does anyone know a Freeview box which would do the same thing?

Re: Nec lcd3210

According to this it doesn't support HDCP, so it won't work on the TiVo's HDMI port. But it also has analogue RGB inputs, so you may be able to connect it to the SCART socket with a suitable lead.

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Re: Nec lcd3210

I you connected via an hdmi splitter(not a switch) it would probably work as the splitter removes the hdcp part to the tv
