Upgrade options

Just looked at my upgrade options as it was advertising 200mb BB not long since but this was the only thing that popped up and was wondering if I am actually reading the price right for talk evening and weekends price from my current package.

Re: Upgrade options

Hi Gavin78, rather than looking at the upgrade options I think you would be better off looking at the Big Kahuna bundle which is £52 a month plus £16.99 for line rental and I think £13 for a second Tivo box.

If I'm reading it correctly the bundle seems to be less than you are paying now...better double check me!

Even the Big Daddy bundle seems to be cheaper than the upgrade option showing on your account.

Re: Upgrade options

Yeah thanks I've been meaning to call retentions for a while. I wasn't planning to upgrade was just shocked to see that an upgrade on my phone services from weekends to weekends/evenings justifies a £40+ increase. I've either read it wrong or VM have messed their pricing up.

Re: Upgrade options

I read it the same as you. Think the problem with the 'upgrade options' is that it just adds on the full price for the extras and cannot take into account any bundles or the fact that your current pricing might already be cheaper in a bundle (I haven't checked).

I just looked at the deals on VM site my package is £52 a month with £16.99 line rental = £69 a month

I pay £85 a month for the same package...well less infact as they get the 200mb BB while I have to wait to till March 2016

My wife is the account holder so might have to get her to give them a call as the package last time wasn't much of a difference in price but this time around it works out about £16 a month difference I would be saving.

That's if VM actually agree to drop the price down

Re: Upgrade options

From what you say it sounds as if you are on an old package and probably out of contract so there should be no problem going for the new one.

I've always found the agents quite willing to point out any savings you can make with a new contract.
